Little Lamb Bamboo Fitted Diaper
This lovely soft bamboo fitted diaper by Little Lamb is suitable for both day and night. For nighttime, most children will need an additional booster. The diaper has to be combined with a PUL/TPU or wool cover to make it waterproof. Contrary to most other fitted diapers, Little Lamb diapers are not adjustable in size, which does not make them a “One Size” diaper. Although they are more affordable per piece, you will need to buy size 1 as well as size 2 to let your child use these diapers from birth to potty. Generally, this makes them not more affordable than a more expensive One Size diaper.
The diaper comes in four sizes. The weight range is dependent on the build of your child, so it is always an approximate. Generally, the diapers fit to the smaller side, so when in doubt it is best to size up rather than down.
- Newborn: up to 5.5 kg
- Size 1: from 3 to 9 kg
- Size 2: from 9 to 17 kg
- Size 3: 16+ kg
Newborn and Size 1 comes with a separate booster, whereas the booster is sewn-in in the sizes 2 and 3. This is because the size 1 can be enough absorbency for newborn babies without the booster. All sizes come with an additional microfleece liner. This liner catches stool which can be shaken off in the toilet. Then the liner can be washed with the diapers.
Tip: fold the bamboo booster in half at the front if you have a boy. For girls, the booster can be laid stretched out.
The bamboo diapers by Little Lamb are OEKO-TEX certified. This certificate means that the least possible amounts of chemicals were used during the production process and the most sustainable options are being chosen. Because of the way bamboo fibers are being made, an organic certificate cannot be issued, but the OEKO-TEX certification comes closest.
