Wool Cover Boiled Curry

These wool covers made of boiled or washed wool (also called wool felt) are ideal for use in combination with prefolds. The raised elastic edges at the legs keep prefolds or inserts firmly in place. These wool trousers have flaps incorporated on the inside of both the front and the back. You can put an insert or prefold under this. However, the wool pants can also be used in combination with many fitted diapers. It is better to choose pull-on wool pants over large or thick (night) diapers. These wool trousers have soft elastics along the legs and along the back, so that everything stays well within the wool trousers. There are washing tabs on the flaps, so that the hook and loop stays in place during washing.

The boiled wool of these wool covers is very sturdy and less vulnerable than jersey wool, it is naturally very waterproof. The wool pants consist of two layers of strong wool at the place where the diaper gets wettest. This makes the wool covers extra leak-proof. You must lanolize the wool pants with solid lanolin before the first use, this makes the wool pants suitable for use over a reusable diaper. You will receive lanolizing instructions with your purchase.

The wool covers are quite stiff when new. By washing and using, the fabric becomes a lot more flexible.

These wool trousers can be washed by hand or in the washing machine on a special wool wash program (maximum 30 degrees). After washing, you need to lanolize the wool trousers again.
