Super Comfortable and reasonably concealable under clothing when properly sized.
This is even more comfortable than regular underwear. Kudos for that.
In terms of sizing, I'm a bit in between M and L, where M becomes just too tight with multiple inserts. This is also the old version. This is the super undies extended wear, which has been replaced by the threaded armor lounge brief and has the same anti-leak edges as the protective brief.
Possibly those anti leak edges of the new variant solve my problem because as soon as some more gets in, it sweats/leaks along the fleece edges which are supposed to be waterproof/repellent.
My problems with this product come from the sizing and possibly an exemplary problem tbv impregnation of the fleece leg openings.
The product is really very comfortable but with the standard microfiber inserts can't take as much as the blumchen adult 2 in 1 combo with an extra stay dry insert. Whereas the super undies AIO does hide well under wide clothes and the blumchen actually does not at all.
My measurements:
pants size 34inch waist
length 190cm
weight 85kg (slight tummy and no storky legs)
Size L is again a bit on the roomy side for me and NOT invisible under clothes, where the size M is ( and I myself fall in the extreme compartment of the size M, which also makes it a bit too snug with more than 1 extra insert)
The 2 main layers of 2 layers are sewn into these pants, with the top layer only attached to the back side.
There is a pocket on the front to secure the top layer in and/or extra layers to put in between the two microfiber layers.
As the best experience to get more capacity than just using microfiber, the blumchen stay dry xs inserts fit perfectly in size M.
My experience is that the comparison below holds up well and they fit the product:
Step up insert size 1 (super undies size S/M) = blumchen stay dry xs (Also, step up insert size 1 is the only one on sale here? Since there is no size selection with this product I assume so)
step up insert size 2 (super undies size L/XL) = blumchen stay dry s
Short summary:
Good product, do pay close attention to how the product falls and what the absorption capacity means to yourself.
Given the small problems I have with this one, I give only 3 stars, while on comfort I would really like to give a big 5+. Whereby the somewhat more limited capacity causes a point deduction. (Although of course the capacity does not have to be the same for everyone)
For my information, I am waiting for the newest version to become available in NL (hopefully also here ;-) ) I would like to try it out, but find it too much hassle to import it for 1 piece. I will order the press stud version soon because it has no fleece at the leg openings, maybe that one works better in my case, but I chose to try this AIO with fleece for extra comfort.
And still I recommend this product, as long as you include the limitations it is still a fine but mostly comfortable product!
