Saalt Menstrual Cup Regular
This menstrual cup is available in three cheerful colors and two different sizes. The cup comes with a cheerful storage bag. In terms of hardness, the cup is between an average and hard cup. This hardness ensures that the cup unfolds easily when you insert it. There are 3 ribs at the bottom of the cup that allow you to keep a good grip on the bottom of the cup if you want to remove it. These ribs are also on the stem so that you have more grip there. If you do not like the stem, it can also be cut off. The stem can be cut off completely or partially. The top of the cup has a thicker edge and there is a second edge under the holes, which gives you a good connection with the vaginal wall in two places. This also helps keep the cup in place. The sizes of the cups are very average, making them suitable for many people.
With a slightly firmer cup like this (compared to the Soft version), the cup can unfold a little too early when inserting it if it was not folded properly. In that case, you can push the cup into the right place by pushing/wiggling the bottom of the cup up or you can reinsert it.
Before first use, boil the menstrual cup for 4 to 5 minutes (not longer than 7 minutes), completely submerging it in water. Make sure it does not lie on the bottom of the pan and burn. If necessary, you can place the cup in a metal whisk so that it does not touch the bottom of the pan. Boil the cup again before each menstrual period. During menstruation, empty the cup into the toilet when it is full. Rinse the cup with drinking water and reinsert it. See the included instructions on how to best do this. A cup can discolour over time and can be used for up to 10 years.
