Threaded Armor Sailor (No Closure)

This is even more comfortable than regular underwear. Kudos for that. The product is really very comfortable but with the standard microfiber inserts can't take as much as the blumchen adult 2 in 1 combo with an extra stay dry insert. Where the threaded armor does hide well under wide clothes and the blumchen doesn't really at all. Unlike the super undies AIO, this one has extra anti-leak edges in the pants, where the absorption material is placed between and no absorption of its own except for the inserts provided. In terms of sizing, I'm a bit in between M and L, where M gets a bit tight with multiple inserts. Since I already had the AIO in size M and found it a bit snug, I opted to try the size L, which is nice and roomy and could cram some more inserts in because I still have plenty of room. Size L is again a bit on the roomy side with me and NOT invisible under clothes (according to the tables I also fall in the end of size M) My measurements: pants size 34inch waist length 190cm weight 85kg (slight belly and no legs) As best experience to get more capacity than just using microfiber the blumchen stay dry inserts fit in just fine. My experience is that the comparison below goes well and they fit the product: - Step up insert size 1 (super undies size S/M) = blumchen stay dry xs (Also, is step up insert size 1 the only one on sale here? Since there is no size selection with this product I assume so) - Step up insert size 2 (super undies size L/XL) = blumchen stay dry s However, even the blumchen stay dry size L just barely fits into the size L of the threaded armor, so it will fit amply for the size XL. Now I myself am still curious about the threaded armor with snaps, this one has no fleece leg openings. I notice that once the fleece openings get wet due to "overflow/pressout" the outside also slowly keeps pulling through with moisture, then it's a matter of also changing the protective brief instead of just the inserts. So with this one, just as I did with the AIO, I will be impregnating the fleece leg openings better (or again since it should already be water repellent?) Short summary: It is a good comfortable product, by playing with the inserts and sizes of the pants you can find something that works well. Just be aware that the standard insert package is fairly limited in absorption, because of this I give 4 out of 5 stars. And by playing with the inserts it is still 1 of my favorites, mainly because of the comfort.
