Renting reusable diapers

On this page you will find all products that you can rent. You can put together your own rental package. The prices shown are the deposit amounts (€10 for individual products, €280 for a complete package). The rent for each individual product is only €1 per week. For a full package you pay €20 per week for the first three weeks, then €15 per week. This way you can first try out various diapers, so that you know what you like and what you don't. You can then make an informed decision about which diapers you want to purchase. If you are looking for something that you cannot find on this page, please contact us for the options.

How does renting work?

Individual products: You put together your rental package yourself by putting the desired products in your shopping cart and paying. You pay a €10 deposit per rented product. The rental costs are €1 per product per week. If you do not yet have liners at home, you will have to order them as well. This way we can be sure that our diapers remain as clean as possible.

Packages: You rent a Newborn or One Size package that contains enough diapers for full-time reusable diapering. You pay a €280 deposit for this. The rental costs are €20 per week for the first three weeks, after which you pay €15 per week. A roll of liners is included with the packages, so you do not have to order these yourself.

You can choose a rental period of 3 to 10 weeks. With your rental package you will also receive a detailed description of the diapers in your package. At the end of the rental period, you return your diapers. If the rental package is in good condition, you will receive your paid deposit minus the rental costs back as soon as possible. If a diaper has become unusable during the rental period, we will also charge the sales price of the diaper. You can of course keep the diaper. So please let us know in advance if you think a diaper can no longer be rented out, it would be a shame if you send it back while we can no longer use it.

Returning rental packages

You can easily return rental packages via the returns portal. You can then indicate that you are going to return all rental products with the reason 'Rent'. If you register a return, you will receive a shipping label as a PDF that you can print and stick on the box. When returning, please include your order number and name on a note. You can then hand in your return free of charge at a PostNL, DHL, DPD or bpost parcel point in the Netherlands, Belgium or Germany. You can also choose to have the package collected from your home. You will then receive emails to track your return. Rental packages can take up to 21 days to process if the diapers are not stain-free. We recommend that you always return the diapers free of stains. If you need more time for this, please email us. If the diapers are returned in good condition, without stains, you will receive your deposit minus rental costs within 7 days of receipt.

Stains in the diapers?

Reusable cloth diapers are consumer items and sometimes get stains, even with a good washing routine. The dye in breastfeeding stool in particular is very persistent and can cause stains. Stool from older children can also sometimes leave stains. Diapers with stains can be hung wet in the sun to bleach them white again. Even when it's raining or cloudy, the stains fade away. If you don't have the option to hang them outside, hang them behind the window. Make sure that the stain always remains wet. Depending on the weather, it may take anywhere from a few hours to a few days for the stains to disappear.

Make sure the diapers come back to us clean. If the diapers are stained, we cannot rent the products until they are white again. Rental packages can only be processed once all diapers are clean again. So if a package is not returned clean, it will take longer until we can refund the deposit. This can take up to several weeks, depending on the weather and the severity of the stains.

So check your diapers carefully for stains a few days before your rental period ends. You still have time to solve the problem and return the package completely clean. Check in good daylight or very bright LED light. Pull the elastics apart, stool often remains between the elastics. Open everything carefully and always look at both sides of an insert or diaper. Stitches also sometimes become less clean, so check that carefully.
