Rumparooz OBV
Rumparooz OBV pocket diaper
The Rumparooz OBV by Kanga Care is a complete pocket diaper with a velvety soft lining made of bamboo and organic cotton. There is a pocket opening at the back of the diaper, in which you can put the 6r soaker. The Rumparooz OBV differs from the standard Rumparooz pocket diaper in several ways. A big difference is the included 6r soaker. In this Rumparooz OBV, there is a bamboo/ cotton soaker, while the standard Rumparooz pocket diaper comes with a microfiber soaker. Also, the inner lining of the Rumparooz OBV is not made of polyester fleece, but a bamboo and cotton blend. The term OBV stands for Organic Bamboo Velour.
The rise of the diaper can be adjusted by four rows of snaps, which allows it to fit babies as small as 2.8 kg. On the largest setting, it fits children up to around 15 kg, depending on the build of your child. This is an exceptionally large range and one of the very little pocket diapers that fit newborn babies well. The cloth diaper comes with a 6r bamboo/ organic cotton soaker. This soaker is adjustable in six ways, which always provides the right amount of absorbency in the right place. It is also possible to stuff the diaper with other inserts.
The outside of the nappy is made of waterproof, breathable TPU. TPU is made more eco-friendly than PUL by only using heat instead of chemicals to make the cover waterproof. Other advantages of TPU are that it is soft to the touch and more pliable. The dark-colored inside of the nappy is made of a bamboo and organic cotton blend. There are also patented inner gussets to prevent stool leakage. The Rumparooz OBV pocket nappy has a snap closure system that comes with a life long guarantee!
The 6r Bamboo/Cotton Soaker
The 6r bamboo/cotton soaker consists of two separate inserts that are both made from a bamboo and organic cotton blend. The inserts have snaps, which makes it possible to snap them onto each other. The small insert is hourglass shaped and is suitable to use for a newborn baby, with the diaper on the smallest rise setting. The large insert can be snapped down to fit in the diaper of a slightly older baby. You can also snap the small insert on top of it, or use the single large insert on its own. You can choose to use it snapped down or unsnapped, which makes the insert longer. The small insert can be attached to the large insert, whether the large insert is snapped down or not. For tummy sleepers and for boys, we recommend snapping the insert to the far front, whereas for girls it is best to snap it a little more to the middle. With this versatile system, there is always enough absorbency in the place your child needs it.
These bamboo/cotton inserts hold liquid very well, but they do tend to be slow absorbers. If your child pees large amounts at once, it might be best to combine the large bamboo/cotton insert with a small microfiber insert. All the inserts that Kanga Care makes, are also sold separately and are interchangeable. This allows you to make the best combination of your child.
