Rumparooz
Rumparooz pocket diapers
Rumparooz pocket diapers by Kanga Care are complete diapers with a stunning six different varieties of absorption. A so-called 6r soaker is included. This insert or soaker consists of two parts that can be used in six different ways. The diapers have a pocket opening at the back, in which you can put the soakers. The lining of the diaper is made of soft microfleece and has patented inner gussets, which prevent stool leakage. The microfleece layer provides a stay dry feeling to the skin of your baby. The outside of the diaper is made of a waterproof, but breathable TPU material. Whereas the production of PUL needs chemicals to make the covers waterproof, TPU only needs heat to generate waterproofness. This makes TPU even more eco-friendly than PUL. Also, TPU is softer to the touch and more pliable. The cloth diaper is adjustable in size by four rows of snaps at the front. This makes the diaper fit around 3 kg until around 15 kg. There is a double row of snaps to close the diaper. There is even a lifelong guarantee to the snaps for the first owner of the cloth diaper!
The 6r microfiber soaker
The 6r microfiber soaker consists of two separate inserts that are both made from 100% microfiber. The inserts have snaps, which makes it possible to snap them onto each other. The small insert is hourglass shaped and is suitable to use for a newborn baby, with the nappy on the smallest rise setting. The large insert can be snapped down to fit in the nappy of a slightly older baby. You can also snap the small insert on top of it, or use the single large insert on its own. You can choose to use it snapped down or unsnapped, which makes the insert longer. The small insert can be attached to the large insert, whether the large insert is snapped down or not. For tummy sleepers and for boys, we recommend snapping the insert to the far front, whereas for girls it is best to snap it a little more to the middle. With this versatile system, there is always enough absorbency in the place your child needs it.
Microfiber is famous for absorbing liquids quickly, but it releases some liquid under pressure. This makes inserts made of microfiber more prone to compression leaks. If you are dealing with such, we recommend replacing one or both of the microfiber inserts with another insert. Kanga Care also makes 6r soakers made of bamboo or hemp. Those fabrics absorb liquid slower, but they tend to hold it in better. A combination of the small microfiber insert with a large bamboo or hemp insert gives you the best of both worlds.
