Hu-Da Bamboo Diaper Package Newborn

Very nice package! We already had experience with washable diapers with our son, but with him we started later, so now for our daughter newborn diapers. And the nicest diapers are HuDa's! They fall very nicely, we have 8 Petit Lulu pants with them, which fit very well, have soft edges and are easy to put on. I also totally agree with Marieke's review, we do it this way too!

We used the diapers from birth to 6 months (6.3kg) (and then switched to onesize Huda). It has been very well liked! The diapers have a good fit and the Velcro closure works nicely. It doesn't look like a huge package around the bottom, which is the advantage of such a special newborn diaper. We did use the included boosters from the 1st week on, apparently there is a lot of peeing. After about 3 months we used a large one-size huda diaper at night, later also with extra booster. But during the day the newbrns were still doing fine. The few (pee) leaks we've had were always the result of waiting too long to change a diaper or a diaper cover that wasn't quite right. We haven't seen poop outside the diaper, at most on the pants during a big poop explosion. We had 5 different brands of pants to go with it. Those from petit lulu and rumparooz were the best and always fitted correctly in one go. With the pants from huda and blumchen it is always a bit more fiddly to get it to fit properly at the legs, so that there is no piece of diaper sticking out anywhere. I like the one from buttons the least in terms of fit. We also like the popowrap (later given to us by someone). After about 4 months we switched to larger one-size pants because the newborn versions no longer fit (but the diaper itself was still adequate). We used about 8 diapers every day. After 2 days (16 diapers) the laundry went on. We usually put them in the dryer, then let them dry on the rack for the last part (especially the elastic at the legs). Otherwise the drying takes a long time and they were not completely dry when they were needed again. No signs of wear or anything from that. When we started using the big diapers at night we almost always dried them on the rack instead of in the dryer. We use 2-3 of the pants per day. With every diaper change we change the diaper cover so the other one can wash out until the next diaper change, and in the laundry if it stinks. These just go with normal laundry and dry quickly on the rack afterwards. In short, a great set to get started with washable diapering!
