This Blümchen newborn cover fits from around 3 to 6 kg. Perfect for small babies. The cover has double leg gussets and closes with hook and loop (Velcro). We find two flaps on the inside, to keep loose inserts in place.
Material: 100% polyester with PUL
The cover can be washed at 40 degrees Celsius, and can be dried in the dryer on low heat.

Slim fit variant received?

I ordered several over pants from Blümchen at the same time and only found out when using them that only this one does not have double leak gutters and different ( finer) Velcro. The version I received is a slim fit version. Probably a mistake. This one is very tight around my son's legs and leaves big stretch marks. I had to put it on the biggest setting. It is waterproof and has nice velcro straps. But it is a lot less comfortable than the one with double leakage channels and I have it as a spare.

Nice pants with strong elastic, and good value for money. At 3kg they are still very roomy, from 4kg they are fine. We use prefolds and I think they can last longer than 6kg. You do have to be careful to close the elastics tightly around the legs, and the Velcro is very stiff when the pants come out of the wash.
