About the bottoms:
These fall smaller than other brands, but again fit perfectly under your "own" underwear sizes.
I will describe these pants as maxi briefs, where other pants are sometimes more like sports briefs. By this I mean how high/large the sides are and how the model feels.
Sizing:
I tried on a size S, as this would fit me in the extreme size range and because these are still available in colors other than white. However, I did not fit into these. Therefore, my conclusion is that they fall smaller than described.
A reviewer online with +-50 kg and 80cm waist still had room left on the Velcro, on me with 87cm waist and a bit more weight I could not get it closed. I guess that's why the maximum waist can't really reach 88cm but rather will be 84cm.
However, the size M fits me perfectly and is almost at the tip of the Velcro, I have a finger left on both sides of the Velcro. Which makes me assume that from 83cm it fits well, this is also exactly where the size S ends according to my previous experience.
These bottoms fall smaller because they are less stretchy/elastic than other brands I have had so far.
Size M is still a large panty, it fits all sorts of things and depending on the inserts chosen, it can be quite well hidden under clothing.
It is a thin and comfortable pair of pants, I have been able to use them without the kombolone insert, but then the waterproof layer can easily touch the skin, which is why they are more comfortable with the original insert than without.
I only tried this one as a last option because I found the model difficult to assess because of how this Velcro system works compared to the other Velcro systems and snaps. Those are all over the width so it doesn't matter as much if you are in between sizes. Even though it wasn't too bad. I also really like this system.
By now I have just about all the adult products that are sold here and I haven't really had a disappointment yet, each product is good in its own respects and moments to wear. Where only the kijani are fairly limited with space in the crotch.
About the insert:
For when using the kombolone bottoms, these are wonderful inserts.
These have a pocket, which is a bit awkward to use, because there is only 1 opening on 1 side through which you have to stuff everything and try to straighten it again.
By themselves they do not have the best capacity and use of extra boosters/inlayers is recommended.
They do have a nice feel to them and stay in place without being bothered by the snaps.
Used with a prefold biocotton blumchen L in the pocket and another blumchen stay dry L in the pants themselves, more than enough capacity.
It would be a bit more convenient if you could get into the pocket from two sides so it would be easier to get an insert in neatly instead of having to put a lot of effort into unfolding it properly.
I think the material is very nice and comfortable.
Short summary:
For me a great product that is comfortable and fits well, although these are not panties like the superundies / threadedarmor with extra raised leak edges, I find them just as nice. Sizing is a bit of a caution, but once you get the right ones it is an excellent "maxi slip". Can be well hidden, or well filled depending on the inserts you choose. Fine all-rounder
