Ilka van der Poel

Ilka van der Poel studied Educational Sciences at the University of Utrecht. For her first child (2014) she started with reusable diapers because of the many benefits. Based on the enthusiasm for reusable diapers, Ilka acquired Nappy's.nl in 2015. At the time, the webshop consisted of products from 1 brand. Over the years, Nappy's.nl has grown into the largest reusable cloth diaper webshop in Europe. Ilka has four children (2014, 2016, 2018 and 2020) with her husband Marco, who joined the company in 2019. All children used cloth diapers full time. In total, Ilka tested more than 100 different diapers from more than 50 different brands. This makes her a real product expert in the field of cloth diapers. Because she has been in charge of customer contact since 2015, she knows what questions customers have. Ilka is in contact with all our brands. She is very enthusiastic about extensive blogs with in-depth research into scientific sources.
