Bamboo Diaper Colored

We use several pre-shaped diapers as night diapers icluding wool pants. This one from Alvababy is my favorite: very supple material, stays nice and soft after washing and absorbs well and a lot. It does take a bit longer for it to dry after washing, on the line a day or two and even out of the dryer I usually have to let it after-dry for half a day. We have bought some extra diapers because of this, but because of this they will each be less heavily used and thus last longer. We still fill this diaper with a bamboo prefold and then it keeps our three month old daughter dry for at least 5 to 6 hours. Good ratio of price/quality!

We use this diaper with our 10-month-old son, sometimes with an extra fleece insert. It is a fine diaper that can hold quite a bit of moisture, but because of this it also takes longer to dry. For daytime I find this one too thick, I prefer an eyelet diaper, but for nighttime very fine!

Handy for e.g. on the road, quick to put on and good to size with the press studs. But ... it takes 3 days inside before the pants are dry after washing. Not recommended if you don't have a dryer like us. Then hydrophilic diapers are a much better choice.

We use this diaper for the night. For now, our 6-month-old son is dry in the morning. He does have a little more print on the legs with this one than with the diaper of this brand with the brown trim. But this will vary from child to child!

He can hold quite a bit of moisture! Also, the (squirt) poop stays nicely inside the diaper so you can keep using the overpants. Seems like a good night diaper, I personally use disposable at night (the edge that forms at the lower back with most washable diapers seems uncomfortable), but I would trust this one in terms of absorbency. It does have a lot of fabric between the legs, but the diaper is very flexible so there's plenty of freedom of movement. It is just that it is a thick wad between the legs and that is not always convenient with (pajama) bottoms. The drying time at home is only 1.5 to 2 days. Outside in the sun it goes a lot smoother.
