Wool Cover Pacific

This wool cover by Disana is made from 100% organic merino wool and is available in six sizes. Because they are double knitted, the cover can hold more lanolin and that makes it extra leak proof.

Please select in the dropdown menu above which size you wish to purchase. Knitted wool covers like this should be ordered one size up from your child’s regular clothes. This is because they shrink and felt a little after multiple washes.

Before the first use, a wool cover should be treated with lanolin to make it waterproof. After lanolization, the wool cover can be used for weeks on end without further treatment. The cover should only be aired out. It should be washed when it gets soiled, or when the wool cover still smells after having aired it out. After washing, you need to lanolize the wool cover once. This is once every two to four weeks on average.

*Sizes 50/56 and 110/116 are only available in the color Natural.

With your order, you will receive extensive instructions for washing and lanolization.

The wool cover can be washed by hand or on a wool wash setting on your washing machine with wool detergent or baby shampoo. It can not be dried in the dryer.

Super nice, never a wet bed and stretch marks again! Seemed like a hassle before lanolizing but it wasn't really that bad. Just a few overnight soaks and done! So far it has been dirty twice, just a hand wash and another night of soaking and it will last for a while. I have 2 and change them every other day. He has lovely soft skin now and no more stretch marks from the pants in the morning. Top this

THE solution for the night!

You want these! For over 2 years now we have been using Disana wool pants and how nice it is! No more leaks at night and lanolizing is also a breeze. We had to cross a threshold (such a shame actually) but so glad we did. We use the wool pants in combination with petit lulu fluffy organic maxi/night and that works well for the toddler and baby from birth.

After a period of continuous wet nights we switched to wool pants. I had to push myself a bit because of the lanolizing but regret not having done it sooner. Lanolizing is easy and the pants are really good waterproof. Very happy with for the nights!

Great. We were a little skeptical after lanolizing. The pants felt dirty greasy. However, this was remedied after 1 night. The pants are comfortable, nice and warm and well waterproof. Not to mention super cute.

Top advice from nappy's: consider wool pants. I'm glad I followed that. Finally a toddler in the morning who is not completely leaked!

It's that I can't give 10 stars, but what a fan I am of these wool pants. I did have to lanolize them several times before they were properly waterproof, but once that's done and they start to felt a bit, they are really great for getting through the night dry. They fit nicely and you can easily put in an extra booster if needed. I am in love! Also wonderful that you almost never have to wash them. I had bought a size larger myself, they fall a little high on the torso then, but you can really use them for a long time because of that.

Beautiful and fine wool pants. I bought the largest size for my baby so she can grow into it. It fits very well and the color is beautiful. The lanolizing is super easy and I actually have to do it very little. I do weeks with 1 wool pant, really great. No more leaks at night and I think it looks super cute :-)

Very nice wool pants in a beautiful color. We initially bought these in a size that was way too big, but this did not cause any problems. Because of this we have been using the same size for almost a year now and this is going fine. The lanolizing is good to do.

If you normally buy Popolini, consider Disana!

This review is of interest to people who always used Popolini and now want to try Disana! I have all my previous 3 wool pants from Popolini and was super happy with them, but now for the last size I had to buy I suddenly found the price difference quite big (>10€), so I asked a nappys consultant about her experience and differences and went for Disana after all and I must say no regrets at all! When lanolizing I was still a bit worried about the reliability, the pants feel a lot thinner(less layers?) than the Popolini, but I can confirm that it works just as well and what I actually like even more is that it falls more smoothly than the Popolini, also a bit roomier, but that's okay, it still fits under the same pajamas as the Popolini. Disana's wool pants fall higher, so under the armpits, but because they are more supple and less thick I don't get any protests here :). I am very happy with it and recommend it! By the way, for those wondering when to start using wool pants, I started when little man stopped pooping at night, otherwise you do get yourself considerably more work with cleaning/lanolizing, I had 1 pair of each size of pants, and it aired during the day and I used them for a long time (well over a month?) before I washed/lanolized again. Then 2 nights I used another pair of pants (motherease airflow) over the night diaper (petit lulu, anavy) and then the pants were usually ready to use again. If I anticipated sickness/diarrhea I would abandon the wool pants and grab a normal overpant. Good luck with wool pants!!! :)
