Wool Cover Ecru

This wool cover by Popolini is made from 100% merino wool and is available in four sizes. They are double knitted and perfect for children with sensitive skin, for heavy wetters and for long nights.

Please select in the dropdown menu above which size you wish to purchase. Knitted wool covers like this should be ordered one size up from your child’s regular clothes. This is because they shrink and felt a little after multiple washes.

Before the first use, a wool cover should be treated with lanolin to make it waterproof. After lanolization, the wool cover can be used for weeks on end without further treatment. The cover should only be aired out. It should be washed when it gets soiled, or when the wool cover still smells after having aired it out. After washing, you need to lanolize the wool cover once. This is once every two to four weeks on average.

With your order, you will receive extensive instructions for washing and lanolization.

The wool cover can be washed by hand with wool detergent or baby shampoo. It can not be dried in the dryer.

THE solution for leaking (at night)
5
Nov 25, 2024
We were looking for a good solution for nighttime because our toddler (14mnd) pees a lot and regularly leaked at night with well-filled pocket diapers. These wool pants go over a night diaper or well-filled pocket diaper and then keep it completely dry. So nice! We have one pant that is still a little too big, but even then it doesn't leak through. Other advantages: don't go stinky, breathes, feels nice and soft. washing once a week is more than enough. (Unless it has gotten dirty) Disadvantages: takes longer to dry. I was looking forward to the lanolizing because I have an allergy to wool grease. But it works well for my skin. And the washing and lanolizing itself is a few minutes work, not too bad!

Fine wool pants that feel soft yet sturdy (not too lumpy so to speak) that makes even a very large size stay well on a little one.

Very fine wool pants, "more compact" knit than Disana's. The wool felts a bit after using it for a while, but this makes it even more waterproof. Do buy the wool pants 1 or 2 sizes bigger. We bought size 86/92 at 5 months and are still using them satisfactorily 8 months later. We use lanolin from Avocado and wool detergent from Ulrich. In the beginning I sometimes had problems with the lanolin not dissolving well, but if you don't forget to add a little wool detergent to the hot water that doesn't happen anymore!

The wool pants are really an invention for the frequent peeer at night! Really fits over any diaper. Even over the huge nighttime diapers. We have been using it for a few weeks now!

I am repeating myself but as many have described: what an invention! Doubt no more about this. Wool pants are soft, comfortable, snag free, leak free and real.... Not that much work; that lanolizing. So click on order soon! :-) Buying a romper extender is a good idea, but that goes for night diapers anyway, so you don't have to put on a bigger romper if your little one doesn't feel like changing at night.

Because of all the enthusiastic stories I bought one to try out. More than one size bigger and that is no problem. The lanolizing is not too bad. No leakage so far. Unfortunately I don't use it much at the moment because he still poops regularly at night when I feed him and then I'm not very handy with this, but as soon as that is over I will use it again. He is very warm in it and has no stretch marks.

We use these wool pants over the night diaper (Anavy). Is a pretty thick package then, but the wool pants go over it just fine. I looked up to the lanolizing (unknown makes...) but this is not too bad. After that it is completely waterproof. Our daughters pee a lot, but with this, never wet pajamas and beds again.

I like this one a lot better than Disana's. The quality is a bit better and you notice that after longer use. Lanolizing for the first use is a little work but after that it is not too bad. Wool pants are the finest overpants for tummy sleepers.

Wonderfully soft and roomy, sit wonderfully on my son. Ideal for nights and I use them for his afternoon nap these days. Bought them to replace the wool pants that were too small. Washing and lanolising are not that bad. Fifteen minutes of work at most each time and only once a month or less in general! Very satisfied with.

Absolute winner

Great!!! What a relief to finally have a pair of overpants where our frequent wetter is guaranteed to get through the nights dry. It is a top-notch product. We use these wool pants in combination with the fluffy organic night diaper from Petit Lulu and it really is ideal. It took some searching and trying out which combination of diapers/overpants works best at night, but of all the systems we tried, these wool pants are definitely the winner. It fits wonderfully, doesn't need to be tight. Where at first we were a little weirded out by wool pants and couldn't imagine ever using it (silly silly silly), we are completely converted. To all parents who have to deal with leaking diapers at night I would say: stop searching and go for wool pants. It really works and lanolizing is not that much work. It's worth it.
