Longie Gray-Berries
A longie is a pair of long wool trousers that can also be used as full-fledged trousers. The wool pants can also be used as wool pants over a folding diaper or fitted diaper, both during the day and at night. These then replace 'normal' trousers. In addition, these pants are simply wonderful to play in, whether crawling or walking and whether or not you are wearing a reusable diaper! This longie from Hu-Da is made of knitted and washed wool, also called 'Walk' wool. This is slightly softer than boiled wool, but firmer than jersey wool. Boiled wool is sewn onto the knees of these longies, which is even sturdier and makes the trousers very suitable for young explorers. The collar is made of Merino 'Walk' wool and is a bit softer and more flexible than the rest of the trousers. There is a cord in the collar around the waist, with which the trousers can be buttoned closed. This ensures that the trousers stay in place even on smaller children. Wool regulates temperature and small children stay nice and warm in these pants while crawling on cold and/or damp surfaces. The pants rarely need to be washed. If there are wet/dirty spots, it is best to let them dry. You can then tap off the dirt or brush it away with a brush. If the wool trousers have become really dirty, you can wash them on a wool wash program or by hand. When using over reusable diapers, hang the pants to air them in between. Only if the pants still smell of urine after airing for a few hours, is it time to wash and lanolize again. This is often only necessary once every 4 to 8 weeks.
If you want to use the pants as waterproof covers over a reusable cloth diaper, you must treat them with solid lanolin. You will receive lanolizing instructions with your purchase.

Made from 100% virgin wool, mulesing-free. With OEKO-TEX quality mark.
These wool trousers can be washed by hand or in the washing machine on a special wool wash program (maximum 30 degrees). After washing, you need to lanolize the wool pants again for use over a reusable diaper. If you want to use the pants as regular clothing, they will remain nicer and more water-repellent if you occasionally treat them with lanolin.
