With this Newborn rental package you rent 29 diapers and 8 covers. This is enough to use the diapers full time. You also receive a diaper pail with two laundry nets, so you can easily store the dirty diapers. There are various systems and brands in the package, so that you can properly test what suits you and your child best. The package is usable from birth. The package comes with liners, diaper clip, diaper pail, laundry nets and a detailed description. You pay the deposit of €280 in advance, after renting you will receive the deposit minus the rental costs back. If diapers return unusable as a result of misuse, we are forced to charge the sales price of these diapers or to deduct them from the refundable deposit.

Costs and rental period

For the first three weeks This rental package costs €20 per week in rental costs. From week 4 you pay €15 per week. You only pay the deposit of €280.00 in advance. For example, if you rent for six weeks, the package costs (3x20)+(3x15) = €105 and you will therefore receive €280 - €105 = €175 back. The rental period starts the first whole day after you have received the package or it has been delivered to a package point. When the rental period is over, you still have three days to get it clean to us without us charging an extra week in rental costs.

Stains in the diapers?

Diapers are consumer items and they sometimes get stained, even with a good washing routine. Especially the dye in breast milk stools is very stubborn and can cause staining. Stools of older children can also sometimes stain. To bleach the stains out of the daiper the diaper needs to be placed or hung wet in the sun. Even when it rains or is cloudy, the stains fade out. If you don't have the option to hang them outside, hang them behind the window. Make sure that the stain remains wet at all times. Depending on the weather, it takes a few hours to a few days for the stains to disappear.

Make sure the diapers come back to us clean. If there are stains in the diapers, we cannot rent the products until they are white again. We are then forced to charge costs. The amount of the costs depends on the number of diapers that are stained and the severity of the stains.

Is your rental period almost over, but you have not yet removed all the stains? Then email us. You can then keep the diapers a little longer (at no extra cost), so that you can still send them back clean.

Very nice to find out if washable diapering suited us and what system/brands we liked. We rented the package for 3 weeks from when our little one was 2 weeks old. Some newborn diapers were already a bit on the small side for the amount of stool our little one had.

It wasn't until my 3rd child that I started seriously looking into washable diapers. Since we have diftar in our municipality we cycle to the diaper container every week with bags full of disposables. Surely there must be another way! Child 2 is beyond saving, but during my pregnancy I was determined to put child 3 in washable diapers. I did a little reading on various sites and with experience experts and actually read everywhere that the choice of system or brand is personal and that it is very nice to have newborn diapers in the house for the first few weeks. That is exactly what makes this package ideal. I ordered it during maternity week and gradually switched from disposable to washable. It was nice to have the different materials in my hands for a while and try them out. Especially in the first weeks I was very happy with the detailed description because sometimes I had to look carefully to see what belonged where and what to do with what. By now that has become routine. We first rented the package for four weeks, but extended it for a few weeks because our child was still too skinny for the one size diapers. Recently, we switched completely to the larger size and have put together a mix of systems and brands based on the experience with the rental package. Very happy with the choice of washable and with this complete package as a first introduction!

We are very excited to have been able to try out this newborn pack! As total newbies in the world of washable diapers, this package was perfect to test out all the options. We rented the pack for 4 weeks, starting a few days after birth. If I were to rent it again, I think I would go for 5 or 6 weeks because we could test some of the diapers a little longer. The explanation with the package how all the diapers work is very helpful and complete. Thanks for the great service!

Makes sense to get waylaid, but also delve into absorption/price quality

We rented this package for 3 wk for our 3 kg newborn. The nice thing about this rental package is that you can try all kinds of brands and systems. It would be nice if there are some more luxury brands in the package of the one-piece systems, which have more absorption. Because in my experience, cheap, often means expensive. And if you then have to buy a lot of inserts with the 'cheap system' to increase the absorption, you end up being more expensive than when you buy a luxury brand directly. Fortunately, you can also rent these luxury brands separately.

Great way to experience washable diapers.

Perfect for trying which diapers are nicest to use. At first I had a preference for a brand, after reading infinitely about washable diapers, but while using them I noticed that brand did not fit our baby so nicely. Finally was able to make a good choice for diapers and am very happy with the choice of washable diapers every day.

Ideal in the first weeks and to make a good choice

We chose this pack to try out which system and brand fit well with our newborn son. And so we were able to start using washable diapers from the first week without having to buy a newborn pack. Our son, weighing 3.7 pounds at birth, fit the diapers well for the first five weeks, although we did notice that the lil Joey's quickly became (too) small. The AIO systems gave us too much leakage, so we always used them in combination with pants, of which there were also more than enough in the package. We ended up going with the one size petit lulu with different overpants, of which the rumparooz are the nicest now and we are very happy with them.

Very hesitant to try this package. In the end very glad we did. After this package we bought a completely different system (hudas) than I had in mind (prefolds with booster). The prefolds with booster did not absorb enough and therefore started leaking, with the hudas no problems. Definitely recommended if you are new to the washable diaper world!

Nice variety, used only briefly though

First things first; it is a very nice, comprehensive package with almost every possible system to try (no pocket diapers). The diapers still look neat and arrive conveniently labeled. The paper with explanations is also clear and we were actually able to start using the diapers right away. We ourselves left the prefolds and the bow diaper aside from one time, but the other models we tried alternately and washed several times. By the way, very nice that the diaper pail, laundry bag and inserts are also included! It's a bit of a fiddle the first time to get the diapers to fit properly, but you get more comfortable with it. The biggest drawback I found is that they are really small, our lady came into the world at 9 pounds and a lot of them actually didn't fit from the beginning and that resulted in stretch marks. There are only a few models left that fit from about 5 pounds (but that is also mentioned in the description). If you are considering washable diapers but really don't know where to start, I can definitely recommend this pack.

Very nice way to see which diapers suit you best

A great package to try out washable. There are so many different systems and brands in there that it is good to compare. We bought Huda one size and rumparooz and petit lulu pants because of this newborn pack. The nice thing about this package is that for the few weeks that your child does not yet fit into the one size diapers you can still have sustainable diapering. We will return this package in a few weeks and by then our baby will fit into the one size diapers. The description that comes is also incredibly helpful. Each diaper and system is described in detail making it easy to get started!
