A menstrual disc looks a bit like a menstrual cup, but works slightly different. You clamp a disc behind your pubic bone, so that it stays in place. No vacuum is created, so you don't have to break the vacuum before removing the disc. The disc is a round or slightly oval disc, made of soft, flexible silicone. The edge is slightly firmer, so that it can be clamped well behind your pubic bone.

The Hello Disc has a handy loop that makes it easy to remove the disc. The diameter is 68 mm and the length of the loop is 48 mm. The disc will hold 50 ml.

The disc is available in one size that will fit almost everyone. The Hello Disc is suitable for menstruators with a low, normal or high cervix. There are several ways to insert the disc, especially regarding the positioning of the tab.

This menstrual disc can be safely used in combination with an intrauterine device (IUD), because no vacuum is created. This disc can be used during intercourse, making it possible to have sexual intercourse without bleeding. However, the disc is not a contraceptive.

Material: 100% medical silicone, BPA free.

Hello Period is B Corp certified and has the OEKO-TEX certificate.

Perfect buy!!! Since I have an IUD, a cup is not recommended. I was looking for an alternative and the disc really is a super alternative. I don't leak (sometimes car dump, but always on toilet, so perfect) and it holds a lot. I don't feel it sitting, have little cramping anymore. I would recommend this to anyone!

I tried the disc due to heavy menstruation. The disc can collect quite a lot but unfortunately for me, it still empties often on heavy days. Taking it out and emptying it is a pretty bloody affair. Fortunately, auto-dumping works for me and I only take the disc out and clean it in the shower at night and in the morning. The disc stays in place well and doesn't leak if you empty on time. Definitely worth trying out.

After giving birth, I felt a cup sitting so it was time for something else. Also, icm with an IUD, a disc seemed like a safer option. It took some getting used to, but now I am very happy with it. I don't feel it and it catches a lot (although those are light periods with the IUD).

Unfortunately, it's not it for me. Stays down. I recommend it because I know it works well for others. And I can imagine that it is very nice and gives a lot of freedom (sauna, swimming, etc.)

Great product. I am not really a fan of cups so I was not immediately convinced to try the discs. But what a difference! I am very satisfied with my purchase. I'm even thinking of ordering 1 more as a spare. The beginning is a bit uncomfortable but once you figure out how, it's really top notch. You don't feel it. And because I have a high cervix, that little lip on it is great! Highly recommended (I also have endometriosis and did not experience much discomfort)

Previously, I used a menstrual cup. However after my second delivery this no longer sat well and sagged down. After some searching I ended up with a disc. I did some tests and asked around on different websites and found the Hello Disc! It is really nice! I hardly leak at all (I have to empty it in time) and I don't feel it anymore. The loop is also very nice to remove the disc. I have done my second cycle now and I can remove it almost every time without spilling too much (it takes a few times to master). Auto-dumping does not work for me, probably because the disc fits too well. I can't compare with other discs either, but I am very satisfied with this one. Hopefully it will last a long time and I won't drop it in the toilet with my clumsiness, because I find it a bit pricey (compared to the cup I had before).

Fine product! After insertion, it sits right away. Works much nicer than the cup. Purchased this after pregnancy and very satisfied. No problems with the tab. Maybe catches a little less than the cup. Only downside is that you need to be near a sink when removing; because lots of chance of spilling and dirty hands.

What a fantastic menstrual disc! I had used several menstrual cups before but they all weren't it for me. Always having problems opening or I could feel them sitting. This disc works perfectly for me! I find insertion much easier than with a cup and I no longer leak at all. I ordered another one right away!

Wow. Just wow. I already had a ziggy cup and it worked fine, but this one has all the advantages of a cup (the firmness) and pops right in and also the advantages of a disc, namely that you do not create a vacuum. It fits better than the ziggy, and it looks like it can come off in a flash (never happened). And autodump is fantastic; it pops back into place, where the ziggy needs some help. For me, there are only two things I regret: the contents are less than the ziggy and I have an unbelievable menstrual cycle. And there is no storage pouch with it. I hope the blue one will be added to the range as well. I want to get 1 extra so I can clean one while camping and use the other.
