Helpfulness

Very fine wool pads also when your nipples are damaged
Great help for vascular cramping!

I bought these compresses when I read a tip from someone who also struggles with vascular cramping (Reynaud's syndrome). These compresses immediately provide an extra layer of warmth after breastfeeding, making the pain with vascular cramping less severe. From the moment I unwrapped them, they have been great to use. Highly recommended (especially for women who get cold easily on their nipples).

i really like that these are large compresses, didn't find this size anywhere else. How I use it is first a smaller cotton or silk compress and then these. Despite being quite a bit of fabric, it is still unobtrusive in your bra I think. Very pleasant fabric.

Leaks through quickly, unfortunately. Already from several big drops while feeding on the other breast, my clothes got wet. This is not what you want! They are very soft and nice for your nipples but I think the compresses are a bit thick and they don't fit nicely in your bra/feeding top. Unfortunately a disappointment for me.

Lovely soft compresses. I use them now at the end of my pregnancy to relieve congestion and it works perfectly.
Rinsing with cold water also works well and then washing after so many times, just like with a wool sweater.
Are nice and thin and big enough for what they need to do.

Enormously soft and comfortable! Don't absorb super much but for sensitive nipples nicer than regular cotton.
Thick and therefore visible through shirt

I didn't like them that much because they are a little bulky. My nipples didn't bother me and the cotton ones from popolini worked fine voo me. Perhaps with clefts these silks are nicer, but I have no experience with that.
Fine nursing pads for the first few days

Very nice when starting breastfeeding with sore nipples: do not stick to damaged nipples.
Convenient extra layer of warmth

Use them on lactation consultant's recommendation instead of newspapers to protect my nipples in cold weather (vascular cramping, Raynaud's). Provides an extra layer of warmth on top of the regular compress.

Nice and soft compresses, nice for chaps. A bit inconvenient that you have to wash them by hand, that's why I like the cotton ones better
