Wool cover Pink-Ecru Dots

This wool cover by Popolini is made from 100% merino wool and is available in four sizes. They are double knitted and perfect for children with sensitive skin, for heavy wetters and for long nights.

Please select in the dropdown menu above which size you wish to purchase. Knitted wool covers like this should be ordered one size up from your child’s regular clothes. This is because they shrink and felt a little after multiple washes.

Before the first use, a wool cover should be treated with lanolin to make it waterproof. After lanolization, the wool cover can be used for weeks on end without further treatment. The cover should only be aired out. It should be washed when it gets soiled, or when the wool cover still smells after having aired it out. After washing, you need to lanolize the wool cover once. This is once every two to four weeks on average.

With your order, you will receive extensive instructions for washing and lanolization.

The wool cover can be washed by hand with wool detergent or baby shampoo. It can not be dried in the dryer.

I'm a big fan of these wool pants for nighttime! The only diaper that keeps pajamas dry!

I always used Disana wool pants at night and was always very happy with them. Finally bought one from popolini out of curiosity and it does not disappoint me at all! It is softer than the disana. I bought it bigger than my daughter's size and I like it.

With quite a few years of washable diaper experience already, wool pants remained a little too woolly for me.... Hassle, lanolizing, not washing how about just airing.... But after lots and lots of wet pajamas despite enough absorption (read half dry diapers) I started using these wool pants a month ago. The lanolising takes some getting used to, but with the map of nappy's it works fine. The pajamas are dry again in the morning, the diaper well wet. In short, a great success :D In hindsight, I should have switched sooner and not let the unknown hold me back. Hope this pulls you over the line too!

I have been using Popolini wool wraps for a long time, so I bought these wool pants purely out of curiosity. But I like it well, better even than the expensive wool wraps that always scrape and scratch delicate baby legs with their stiff velcro. The wool is much more tightly woven than Disana's, although I don't notice any difference in terms of dryness. However, with Popolini the wool does stay nice a little longer and less fluffy/pillowy. Before it was leak free I lanolized it at least six times. What I do find unfortunate is that the seams are on the inside, whereas in the woolwrap they are very nicely on the outside. But of course that is easily solved by putting the pants on inside out. A second disadvantage is that the legs and waistband are so long that you can't easily feel whether the diaper is already soaked. Another advantage is that rompers are no longer necessary because a shirt is enough.
